Our granulated products, Calciprill and Magprill, are made from ultra-fine particles which break down rapidly in moisture. Their large surface area reacts quickly with the acidity in the soil, correcting pH and providing calcium or magnesium to the crop. Magnesium is an essential nutrient for all crops. It is a central component of the chlorophyll molecule and plays a key role in the transport of carbohydrates from the leaves to roots and fruit. Magnesium is highly mobile in plants, so is easily translocated to where there is the highest demand, usually in the shoots or fruit.
